Job post summary: Orthodontic Assistant (PART-TIME) Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour (commensurate based on experience) Job description: Our small orthodontic office is looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to join our clinical team. We are looking for a dedicated, positive person to become an orthodontic assistant with our practice. We strive to provide care to our patients that we would want to receive ourselves. JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to): Communication with patients regarding treatment and oral hygiene Charting of patient information Taking digital radiographs Intra-oral scanning Assisting with orthodontic adjustments Preparing teeth for bonding and debonding Assisting in the placement and removal of appliances Sterilizing instruments and operatories Encouraging, educating, and motivating patients to follow the recommendations of the Doctor Bracket card set-up/placement Orthodontic lab experience Managing a fast-paced patient schedule/Scheduling patients What we offer: A PART-TIME position (Specifically Mondays 8AM-5:30PM, Thursdays 8AM-5:30PM and Fridays 6:30AM-2:30PM) as an orthodontic assistant with the opportunity to work in a fun, high-energy, professional, and team-oriented environment. Approximately 25 hours per week. Our normal patient schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Fridays from 7:00am to 2:00pm. No weekends or evenings.
