Job Summary 4 Day week schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm 3 Day weekends 401 K plan with 3% employer contribution Duties Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for each procedure, ensuring a sterile environment through proper aseptic technique. Assist dentists chairside during various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics and prosthodontics. Take dental X-rays using digital imaging systems with X-ray machines including panoramic dental X-rays while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix, documenting medical history and treatment details accurately. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions about dental terminology, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments, maintaining cleanliness in the clinic, and following CDC guidelines for aseptic technique. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations including scheduling as a dental receptionist when needed and managing medical documentation and records.
