The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, particularly in general dentistry procedures, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a General Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of dental issues while ensuring adherence to safety and infection control standards. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Provide a variety of dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and care. Utilize aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment. Collaborate with the team to develop individualized treatment plans that meet patient needs and expectations. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term dental wellness. Use dental fabrication techniques for prosthetic devices when necessary, ensuring proper fit and function. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, including new procedures, materials, and technology such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix software systems. Experience Proven experience working in dental clinics or offices with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and dental terminology is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic procedures efficiently. Experience adhering to infection control standards and aseptic techniques within a fast-paced clinical setting. Prior use of electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Dentrix is preferred. Strong patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
