Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct initial patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental concerns Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs Assist with chairside procedures such as applying fluoride treatments and taking dental radiographs (medical imaging) using digital systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix Ensure strict infection control protocols are followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of instruments Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting treatment plans, patient interactions, and clinical findings in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide seamless patient care, including pediatric dentistry when applicable Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and address any concerns promptly Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general or pediatric dentistry setting Proficiency with dental office management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and HIPAA regulations Familiarity with medical coding, documentation review, and medical records management Experience performing vital signs assessment, medical imaging, and chairside assisting in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of pediatric dentistry best practices is a plus Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and foster trust Join us to make a meaningful difference in patientsâ lives through outstanding oral health care!
