Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Boise, ID

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant (Temporary) to join our team to cover for a team member on medical leave. This is a temporary position with the potential for future opportunities depending on office needs. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care. This role involves assisting the Dentist during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, being able to work on your own, answer patient questions and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and organize instruments, materials and equipment for dental procedures Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Take x-rays Adjust dentures, fabricate temporary crowns/bridges Maintain accurate dental records Provide patients with instructions for care after procedures Sterilize and disinfect instruments and workspaces according to infection control protocols Maintain patient flow Maintain inventory of supplies and order as necessary To qualify you must: Have completed a Dental Assisting program or have the equivalent in experience Be x-ray certified Have strong communication skills Job Type: Temporary Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour Ability to Commute: Boise, ID 83714 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Boise, ID 83714: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
