Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Periodontal & Implants (Minimum 1 year experience) * Brentwood & Nashville, TN * $23–$28 per hour (based on experience) * Monday–Thursday | 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (with occasional Fridays) * NO Nights * NO Weekends * 3-Day Weekends Several Times Per Year About Us We are a specialty periodontal and implant practice dedicated to delivering high-quality care in periodontal therapy, dental implant placement, and oral surgery. We are seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing outstanding patient care in a surgical specialty environment. Position Summary The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable assisting with surgical and periodontal procedures in a fast-paced specialty practice. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude. Candidates who are willing to cross-train and assist the administrative team when needed are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Assist the periodontist during periodontal surgeries, implant procedures, and oral surgery Assist with laser and LANAP procedures Take digital radiographs, including intraoral, panoramic, and CBCT imaging Prepare and break down operatories and surgical trays Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education to patients Accurately document procedures and clinical notes in patient charts Maintain clean, stocked, and organized clinical areas Support efficient patient flow throughout the day Occasionally assist at other practice locations while maintaining a primary assigned location in Brentwood or Nashville Qualifications Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required Current CPR/BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience Periodontal and/or oral surgery experience preferred Excellent communication skills and professional chairside manner Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures Experience with dental software ( Open Dental preferred ) Strong organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills Dependability and reliability are essential Preferred Qualifications Experience assisting with dental implants, grafting, or sedation procedures Knowledge of surgical materials and specialty protocols Familiarity with CBCT imaging, scanning technology, laser, and LANAP procedures Willingness to cross-train and assist with administrative duties when needed Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including: Competitive hourly pay 401(k) Paid time off Bereavement leave Profit sharing Health insurance stipend Uniform allowance Free parking Continuing education opportunities Opportunities for advancement Supportive and professional team environment Team appreciation events Additional Information Expected hours: 30–40 hours per week Day shift only No nights No weekends Background checks may be required Applicants must submit: Resume Three professional references Salary requirements Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Bereavement leave Employee discount Free parking Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Profit sharing Referral program Uniform allowance Application Question(s): Are you able to be at work by 6:30 am Monday-Thursday (with an occasional Friday), and work until 3:30 pm on those same days?
