Front Desk Dental Receptionist - Onik Family Dental - Frankfort, IL

Immediate hiring! Looking for someone who has worked in this role before: We’re looking for a reliable and experienced dental receptionist to be the face and voice of our practice as our main front desk team member. We’re a small, three-operatory private practice with one hygienist, one assistant, and one receptionist. We’re true team players who genuinely like one another and get along well. We see patients of all ages and focus on quality over quantity preventive and restorative dentistry. Our office is open Monday through Thursday — no evenings, no weekends. We’re looking for someone experienced and proficient with Dentrix, with strong computer skills and general tech savviness. We use Weave for patient communication. The ideal candidate can type comfortably and use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience processing and entering insurance claims is a must, along with working directly with insurance companies to verify coverage and check claim status. We are out of network with all plans except Delta Dental. Our ideal candidate has a warm personality and can interact with patients with both compassion and confidence. Strong communication skills are essential. Our schedule offers some flexibility. While we do take time off here and there — including school breaks and summer vacations — the receptionist is always welcome to maintain a full schedule. We would love if you’re cross-trained. While we wouldn’t often expect the front desk team member to step into the clinical world, it’s a huge help on occasion if you can turn over a room, run the autoclave, or take a radiograph.
