Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Deliver a broad spectrum of general dentistry services such as dental restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Conduct patient education on oral health practices and treatment plans, ensuring clear communication tailored to pediatric dentistry and adult patients. Collaborate with specialists for complex cases involving oral surgery or advanced prosthodontic procedures. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records efficiently. Apply knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to facilitate precise diagnosis and treatment planning. Operate dental equipment effectively while ensuring proper sterilization and infection control measures are followed. Support the dental team through four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient care efficiency and comfort. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a General Dentist with current credentials to practice in the region. Proven experience in dental office or clinic environments with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical imaging, and anatomy relevant to dentistry. Knowledge of infection control standards and HIPAA compliance requirements. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs comprehensively and communicate effectively. Experience in dental fabrication processes is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques.
