Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health Review patient medical records and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft for documentation review and medical coding Conduct patient assessments to identify potential issues requiring further evaluation by the dentist Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to dental records management and documentation review Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Familiarity with EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is a plus Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance Join us to make a difference through energetic patient care!
