Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Banning, CA
We are seeking a competent and reliable dental assistant to join our team. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. Responsibilities are as below, but not limited to: Welcome and check-in customers in the dental office Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentists during exams and treatments Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the office clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Proven experience as dental assistant with excellent work ethics Excellent communication and people skills Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Take good diagnostic quality radiographs and intraoral images Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Sufficient in Open Dental software Good computer skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Working Days: 3 days (T, W, Th) / week Compensation is determined based on the applicant's competence, performance, and experience.
