Job Summary Greensboro Ivory Dental seeking a highly motivated and experienced full-time Dental Assistant II with a minimum of 1 year of chair-side experience. A qualified candidate is a team player that is highly self-motivated, demonstrates strong dental skills, as well as an excellent communicator. Responsibilities Welcome customers in the dental office Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Treatment plan and go over with Patients Coordinate lab cases Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Qualifications Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting with proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside support and infection control protocols. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft; or similar medical documentation platforms is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding, and proper handling of medical records to ensure accurate documentation. Hands-on experience with X-ray procedures, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools used in general dentistry. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry along with aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics, demonstrating patience and professionalism at all times.
