Permanent Dental Assistant Job in El Segundo, CA
Dental Assistant Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take digital dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform medical coding and documentation for patient records - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using Open Dental software - Assist with patient assessment and triage - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow - Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures Qualifications: - X-ray and CPR/BLS certification - Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills We offer competitive pay and a great work culture.
