Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Brentwood, CA

```Duties``` - Assist the Orthodontist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients - Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records using Edge software - Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed ```Experience``` - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant - Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment - Familiarity with Ortho assisting procedures and techniques - Understanding of dental anatomy and terminology - Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, and possess strong organizational skills. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist to provide quality oral healthcare to patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting during dental procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, providing oral hygiene instructions. There is also an opportunity to obtain an Orthodontic Assistant permit. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant. You should be proficient in Edge software for managing patient records and appointments. We can train you on our software. Additionally, you should have knowledge of medical imaging techniques, dental anatomy, aseptic technique, and HIPAA regulations.
