The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting and a thorough understanding of dental procedures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support clinician in delivering high-quality care while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards. Take dental radiographs (X-ray), ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and acting as a dental receptionist when needed. Maintain knowledge of dental terminology andanatomy to facilitate effective communication within the team. Operate and assist with sterilization procedures to uphold the highest standards of infection control. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred. Newly graduated Dental Assistants are also welcome. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for safeguarding patient information is essential. Demonstrated ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately and efficiently. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental care. Experience with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and maintaining a sterile environment. Certification or training in dental assisting or related fields is advantageous; however, relevant on-the-job experience will also be considered.
