Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical tasks, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures to maintain optimal oral health. Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Knowledge of general dentistry principles and practices. Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry. Familiarity with dental assisting tasks is a plus. Strong understanding of anatomy relevant to oral health. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and work within a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
