Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and vital signs to ensure safe treatment procedures Assist with chairside procedures, including providing support during pediatric and general dentistry treatments Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining proper infection control protocols Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term health Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office or clinic setting Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and documentation review processes Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures Proficiency with EMR systems for managing patient records and documentation Understanding of medical coding related to dental procedures for accurate recordkeeping and billing purposes Join our team where your skills will be valued, your growth supported, and your passion for dental health celebrated!
