Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Take and develop X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring accurate medical documentation Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient privacy Monitor vital signs and medical history to support safe treatment planning for all patients, especially pediatrics Provide comprehensive chairside assistance with dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge to facilitate efficient procedures Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Ensure proper use of medical coding for billing purposes and accurate documentation of medical records Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry practices Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation Experience with X-ray technology, including digital imaging and 3D scanners for precise diagnostics Ability to perform vital signs measurement and basic medical imaging to support comprehensive patient care Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care!
