Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review Diagnose dental conditions using clinical evaluation and medical imaging techniques Provide a wide range of treatments such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate treatment plans effectively with patients and team members Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations Use dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and billing purposes Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health Experience Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or similar setting Proficiency with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization techniques in accordance with OSHA guidelines Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently Excellent communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and compassionately to diverse patient populations Join us in delivering outstanding dental care where your skills will directly impact patientsâ confidence and well-being.
