Dental Hygienist - Miguel DeLeon, DMD - San Mateo, CA

We are a growing private dental practice near downtown San Mateo ready to hire a Registered Dental Hygienist. For the past 4 years, I have personally provided all hygiene care in order to build strong relationships and trust with our patients. As we continue to grow, we’re ready to thoughtfully transition into a hygiene-driven model — and we want to do it the right way. This position will begin at 1 day per week as we: Build a hygiene schedule focused on new patients Develop a smooth workflow between doctor and hygienist Maintain the trust we’ve built with our existing patients Long-term, the goal is a full-time hygiene position as the schedule expands. Our office was recently refreshed with a modern look and is packed with the latest dental technology. From cloud-based dental software, digital X-rays, and lasers, to intraoral scanners and 3D printing our own nightguards — you’ll be working in a forward-thinking environment that prioritizes quality and efficiency. You will be working with: A solo general dentist (UCSF residency trained) A highly organized and supportive assistant An awesome and knowledgeable office manager Our typical day is 8–5PM Monday to Thursday with about 5–8 patients. We focus on comprehensive exams, prevention, fillings, crowns, veneers, clear aligners, and collaborate closely with trusted local specialists. Our priority is getting to know our patients and providing individualized, patient-focused care. We move intentionally and do not run a high-volume corporate model. We value prevention, education, and long-term relationships. I am looking for someone who plans on staying long term so our patients can develop a strong relationship with you as well.
