Dental Assistant - Smilewell Dentistry of North Bethesda - North Bethesda, MD

Smilewell is seeking a reliable and well-rounded Dental Assistant to join our team in North Bethesda. Compensation : $23 – $28 per hour (based on experience) Clinical Support Assist chairside across a wide range of procedures, including restorative treatments (fillings, crowns, bridges, implant restorations) as well as advanced procedures such as implant placement, root canals (endodontics), and Invisalign. Technology & Digital Workflow Work with advanced dental technology, including iTero scanning and CBCT imaging, to support patient care and treatment planning. Operatory & Flow Management Prepare and break down treatment rooms, maintain sterilization protocols, and help ensure the daily schedule runs efficiently. Inventory & Supplies Take ownership of clinical inventory and ordering to keep the practice fully stocked and running smoothly. Team Support Collaborate closely with the hygiene team—assisting with charting, room setup, patient seating, and turnover as needed. Experience Previous dental assisting experience required, with a strong understanding of instruments, materials, and general dentistry workflows. Certification Radiology Certification is required. Work Style We’re looking for someone with a team-oriented mindset who is willing to step in wherever needed to support the office. Experience in any of the following is a plus: Invisalign workflows (records, attachments) Endodontic assisting Dental photography Interest in creating social media content for the practice Schedule Monday & Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM Note: Occasional Saturday ( once per month) may be added in the future.
