Registered Dental Assistant - Innovative Dental Ideas - Hilliard, OH

Private practice in Hilliard is seeking to add a stellar dental assistant to our wonderful team! 3-4 days per week, 8:30 am-5:00 pm. Experience in prosthodontics/implant procedures required. Duties include: Chairside Assistance: Assist dentist during restorative procedures including crowns/bridges, surgical implant placements, sinus lifts, bone grafts, and restorative steps (impressions, try-ins, final delivery). Case Preparation: Set up, tear down, and disinfect operating rooms for sterile surgical procedures. Diagnostic Support: Take, develop, and mount high-quality digital dental radiographs, including panoramic and CT scans. Patient Care: Review medical history, take vital signs, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, and ensure patient comfort. Inventory & Lab Coordination: Monitor implant componentry inventory, stock surgical trays, and coordinate with dental labs. Technology Proficiency: Utilize digital intraoral scanners and dental software (Dentrix) for documentation. Qualifications and Skills Experience: Proven experience as a dental assistant, with specific experience in oral surgery and implant procedures preferred. Certifications: Valid state-specific dental assistant license/certification (e.g., X-ray certification) and CPR/BLS certification. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with surgical instruments, prosthetic components, and sterile techniques. Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills to assist in a fast-paced environment Pay is negotiable starting at $28.00/hr based on experience.
