Key Responsibilities Clinical Excellence: Demonstrate proficiency in diagnostic radiographs (X-rays) and dental prophylaxis for children and adolescents. Chairside Support: Efficiently assist the dentist using professional four-handed dentistry techniques. Patient Education: Clearly communicate oral hygiene instructions and preventative care strategies to both patients and parents. Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively within a high-functioning team to ensure a seamless patient experience. Compliance & Software: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA standards. Utilize OpenDental software for accurate charting and patient records. Qualifications Certification: Must be X-ray certified and CPR/BLS certified. Experience: Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience is preferred; pediatric experience is a significant plus. Knowledge: Strong understanding of HIPAA/OSHA compliance and dental terminology. Attributes: Exceptional communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
