Responsibilities Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, utilizing evidence-based methods. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and radiographic analysis using medical imaging tools. Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate both surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapies. Educate patients on periodontal health maintenance, oral hygiene practices, and the importance of ongoing dental care. Collaborate with general dentists to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans and ensure seamless patient experiences. Skills Strong background in general dentistry principles alongside specialized skills in periodontics, including dental extractions and root canal therapy when necessary. Experience with dental fabrication techniques for prosthodontics related to implant restorations. Skilled in performing dental implant surgeries, soft tissue grafts, and other advanced periodontal procedures.
