Responsibilities Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions with precision and care Assess patient needs through thorough examinations, medical and dental histories, and diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and intraoral scans Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and educate patients on oral health maintenance and preventive care Conduct complex procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Collaborate with team members utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all medical records are up-to-date and complete Stay current with advancements in dental technology, terminology, and best practices to continually improve patient outcomes Skills Strong knowledge of oral surgery procedures, dental fabrication, and endodontic treatments including root canal therapy Excellent understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on pediatric dentistry when applicable Knowledge of HIPAA compliance for safeguarding patient information and medical records management Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, prosthodontics procedures, and utilize aseptic techniques efficiently Join us if youâre eager to make a positive impact on patientsâ lives through exceptional dental care!
