Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Margate, FL

Lifestyle Dental Care is looking for the right candidate to be one of our awesome dental assistants. This person is people-focused, detail-oriented and a fast learner. The current opening is for a permanent, full-time or part-time position; Bilingual Creole/English or English/Spanish Preferred. We are a non-corporate, general dental practice focused intently on providing exceptional patient care through a great patient experience. We provide a wide range of dental services including cosmetic, implants, restorative, orthodontics and reconstructive dentistry. This position requires the ability to assist the dentist with proper suction techniques, passing of instruments, impressions, making temporary crowns, cord packing, room setup/breakdown, sterilization of instruments and more. It also requires excellent time management and organizational skills with an eagerness to learn. This position will be required to uphold our standards around patient experience and always insure the highest level of customer service. Applicant must have a strong work ethic as well as an outgoing personality and positive attitude. 2 years experience in a general dental office preferred. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties: Must be a team player with an awesome attitude Ability to assist the doctor on all dental procedures and learn Seat patients Have X-Ray certification and competency taking radiographs Educate patients on all procedures to be done Stock operatories and help other assistants keep rooms stocked Maintain patient charts Complete lab work on time (bleaching trays and study models) Enter treatment plans into dental software Turn equipment on at start of each day, and off when day is done Keep work areas neat and organized Perform some front office functions if needed Establish and maintain relationships with all patients Participate in on-going training and continuing education Participate in community service Knowledge of Open Dental Software is a plus Bilingual is preferred (English/Creole) or (English/Spanish) Ortho experience is a plus Experience at dental front desk is a plus If this position and our practice sounds like a great match for you, we would love the opportunity to meet you and get to know you better.
