Overview Our small general dental practice in Honolulu is looking for a part time assistant to work 1-2 days a week. No experience is needed. We are willing to train on the job if you are friendly, have excellent communication skills, and are organized. Duties Assist dentists or hygienist during various procedures Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment such as X-ray machines are ready for use. Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Maintain infection control standards by following HIPAA guidelines, sterilizing instruments, and practicing proper aseptic techniques. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations, including scheduling appointments and acting as a friendly dental receptionist when needed.
