We are a growing, patient-centered private dental practice looking for a skilled and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team! Position Overview: As an EFDA, you will play a key role in supporting the doctor and enhancing patient care by performing expanded clinical duties. We are looking for someone who is efficient, detail-oriented, and brings a positive attitude to the team each day. Responsibilities: Perform expanded functions in accordance with state regulations Assist the doctor during a variety of treatment procedures Take digital impressions, X-rays, and intraoral scans Ensure operatory setup and breakdown with strict infection control standards Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation Support overall flow and efficiency of the clinical team Qualifications: EFDA certification required (Florida) Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (expanded functions preferred) Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology Experience with Dentrix dental software and digital workflows preferred Excellent communication and patient care skills Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail What We Offer: Positive, team-driven work environment Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and continuing education Uniform allowance We look forward to meeting you!
