Faculty in this role will support student learning in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. This position is well suited for hygienists who are interested in teaching, mentoring, and strengthening the dental hygiene workforce in Montana. Faculty work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain accreditation standards, support student success, and ensure the curriculum reflects current professional practice. Duties and Responsibilities 1.Develop, teach, and assess didactic, laboratory and clinical classes using traditional and alternative delivery systems. 2.Supervise and instruct students completing course and clinical requirements 3.Advise students in the dental hygiene program 4.Participate in college activities and committees beyond oneâs discipline 5.Regularly attend program meetings and collaborate with colleagues, within the department and across campus. Required Qualifications 1. Associateâs or bachelorâs degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program 2. Bachelorâs degree in any field 3. Minimum of two years of clinical dental hygiene experience 4. Demonstrates strong written, oral, electronic and interpersonal communication skills 5. Demonstrates strong computer skills 6. License to practice as a registered dental hygienist in Montana with a local anesthesia endorsement Preferred Qualifications Experience in teaching didactic and/or clinicals.
