ORAL SURGERY Dental Assistant

We are a high-end, patient-focused dental practice seeking a skilled and experienced Oral Surgery Assistant to assist 2-3 Fridays. Potential to travel with oral surgeon to other offices twice a week. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5+ years of oral surgery assisting experience (required)
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures including extractions, implants, bone grafting, and sedation cases
• Ability to anticipate doctor’s needs and maintain efficiency during procedures
• Experience with sterilization protocols and maintaining a clean, organized operatory
• Comfortable assisting with IV sedation (preferred)
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player

Responsibilities:

• Assist doctor during oral surgery procedures
• Prepare and break down surgical rooms
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure comfort and safety
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Take and manage digital X-rays/CBCT scans
• Provide post-op instructions and patient education
