Who We're Looking For

This is a part-time position that would be ideal for an experienced dental assistant who would like to continue to be a part of the dental profession while having a healthy life-work balance.  Excellent communication skills with patients and fellow team members, and the ability to provide patient education are essential. Dentrix proficiency is preferred. The ability and willingness to travel with the doctor and staff to our Village of Oak Creek (Sedona) office 4-6 days a month is a plus, as is front desk experience.  

Responsibilities

• Assisting the doctor with all dental procedures, including implants, crown and bridge, and biomimetic restorations.
• Taking excellent digital x-rays, intraoral photos, and intraoral scans (Itero)
• Accuracy and detail in charting and note-taking
• Setting up and breaking down operatories, and sterilization
• Tracking and managing lab cases.
• Inventory and supply efficiency
• Compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards and requirements.
