Our Team at Cantrell Dental is looking to add another full time hygienist. Looking for someone who is motivated, positive, flexible, and caring. Team Player is a must. Our office hours are 8:30-5:00 p.m. Our office is closed Wednesday's unless there is a Holiday to accommodate patient load. - What we need from you: - Active Arkansas state hygiene license - Certifications for: Anesthesia, Nitrous, and CPR - Our software is Eaglesoft- expect for you to familiarize yourself and use it efficiently. Hygienists are usually the first point of contact with the patient. The duties that come along with that is of utmost importance. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Sterilize instruments properly -Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history -If your last patient is done before 5:00 pm, we expect you to help the other team members -Documentation must be complete and precise -Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, periodontitis -Our office sees many patients that require SRP treatment. Expect you to be able to educate the patient, document- Perio charting, and treat them accordingly. - Monitor supplies- and let Managing dentist know if you are low in supplies. -Take x-rays and impressions for bleach trays -Trims models and fabricate bleach trays -Educate all ages on proper teeth care -STAMINA to keep up with the physical demands of the job Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Work Location: In person
