Dental Front Desk Receptionist Job Description: We are a new children's dental office located in Frisco looking to hire a self motivated, solution-driven and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing office. This is a part-time position. As a Front Desk Receptionist at edc Smiles Childrenâs Dentistry , you will be the first point of contact for our young patients and their families. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. In addition, you will also be involved in supporting our marketing efforts. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients and their families with a warm and friendly demeanor. Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently. Verify patient information and insurance details accurately. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about our services. Present treatment plans clearly and confidently Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing patient records. Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Assist in marketing efforts, including but not limited to social media updates, email campaigns, and promotional events. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and their parents. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in using Open Dental or other dental office management software Knowledge of basic dental terminology Willingness to support marketing efforts and contribute creative ideas.
