Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions (RDA-EF) certification to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, perform expanded functions within your scope of practice, and ensure smooth, efficient patient care. Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and medical documentation will contribute to delivering top-quality dental services in a welcoming environment. Duties Restorations: Placing, contouring, finishing, and adjusting direct restorations (fillings). Impressions: Taking final impressions for permanent indirect restorations (crowns/bridges) and tooth-borne removable prostheses. Endodontics: Sizing, fitting, and cementing endodontic master and accessory points. Assessments: Conducting preliminary oral health evaluations, including charting and myofunctional evaluations. Gingival Cord: Placing cord retraction for impression procedures. procedures Strong understanding of X-ray safety standards and ability to operate imaging equipment including 3D scanners, CT scanner, Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy at all times Other procedures authorized by regulations adopted by the dental board.
