*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental provider with patient care, treatment, and various services to ensure high-quality dental care for our patients. *Responsibilities* - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care - Maintain accurate patient records *Skills* - Proficiency in Dentrix software - Knowledge of aseptic techniques - Experience with 3D scanning technology - Familiarity with endodontic procedures - Understanding of dental anatomy - Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently - Knowledge of dental terminology - Experience in dental receptionist duties - Competence in dental assisting techniques - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Taft, CA 93268: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
