Registered Dental Hygienist - Parker Family Dental - Lakewood, WA

About us Here at Parker Dentistry, located in Lakewood, WA we are a well established practice with many longtime patients. We are a professional yet very friendly progressive dental office that has been practicing since 1983 when Dr. Bill Parker opened his doors. Dr. Bill has retired but his son Dr. Chad Parker, has been practicing here for almost 20 years & will be here for many more to come. We operate with one Dr, three assistants & two hygienist's. The office hours are Monday-Wednesday 8 am-5pm, and Thursday 7am to 2 pm straight thru. We are big on work/life balance & value family time a lot here so it makes for a nice long weekend. There are oppertunities to work Friday's as well. Each patient gets a 1 hour appointment with the hygienist, with new patients at 90 minutes. We have a retirement plan as well as a profit sharing plan. We are a very family friendly office that sees all ages of people. Paid every 2 weeks 2 retirement programs: 401-k and Profit sharing plans uniform allowance life insurance policy Disability insurance policy Free dental care bonuses 7 paid holidays 1 week vacation after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years costco card dentrix office Salary: $65-$70 (open to negotiations) Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take X-rays - Assess patients' oral health - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Administer local anesthesia - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix, Detailed chart notes with Narratives for crowns, implants ect. when necessary Skills: - Dentrix - knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and procedures - effectively educate and interact with patients - Ability to work well in a team environment We value connecting with our patient's & working as a team!
