Dental Hygienists have an important role to play when it comes to providing a safe and healthy place for patients to keep a good oral hygiene. Our Office is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist who has the desire to make a positive impact every day. The Dental Hygienist is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the Hygiene program are maintained to the established and appropriate levels. In this role, the hygienist is responsible to optimize oral hygiene care delivered to patients while meeting defined performance and financial objectives. We have a Competitive Pay and we would like to speak with you! - Perform dental cleanings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Take dental x-rays - Conduct patient screenings and assessments - Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols - Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive dental care - Assist with general dentistry procedures as needed Experience: 5 Years - Previous experience in dental assisting or dental hygiene preferred - Proficiency in documentation - Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis - Ability to perform patient assessments effectively Nice-to-Have Skills: - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations - Proficiency in infection control practices - Understanding of medical coding principles - Familiarity with maintaining medical records - General dentistry knowledge - Dental assisting experience Job Type: Part-time Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Experience: Hygiene: 3 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Buena Park, CA 90620 (Required) Work Location: In person
