Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions. Conduct complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging technology and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure safe and effective treatments. Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members on treatment planning and coordinate referrals for specialized procedures like pediatric dentistry or oral surgery when necessary. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in good standing. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and understanding of anatomy relevant to oral health. Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance standards. Hands-on experience in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), and dental fabrication techniques. Strong communication skills for effective patient care and team collaboration. Ability to perform procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
