Duties Provide high-quality general dentistry services including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy. Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings. Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office protocols. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment options clearly to patients. Ensure infection control and aseptic techniques are rigorously followed to uphold safety standards. Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to maximize efficiency and patient comfort. Use dental imaging tools and medical imaging techniques to diagnose and plan treatments accurately. Stay current with medical and dental terminology updates, ensuring clear documentation of all procedures performed. Skills Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and record management. Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles and experience working with patients. Expertise in oral surgery procedures including dental extractions and complex surgical cases. Solid understanding of general dentistry practices combined with specialized skills in endodontics and prosthodontics. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and thoroughly. Familiarity with medical documentation standards, medical records management, and medical terminology. Knowledge of infection control protocols, anatomy fundamentals, and the use of medical imaging technology. Ability to work efficiently within a busy dental clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
