Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and care. Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct oral surgery procedures and pediatric dentistry treatments with expertise in aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize their oral health goals and comfort. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and patient care. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments while adhering to infection control standards in a fast-paced dental office environment. Assist in dental fabrication processes when needed, ensuring high-quality prosthetic work for patients. Support team members through four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient experience. Valid license to practice dentistry with appropriate state licensing requirements fulfilled. Proven experience in general dentistry, including dental office or clinic experience preferred. Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Hands-on experience with dental procedures including root canal therapy, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and working with pediatric patients is a plus. Ability to perform detailed patient assessments utilizing medical imaging and anatomy knowledge effectively. Excellent communication skills for explaining treatments clearly to patients of all ages.
