Dental Hygienist - Rocky Mountain Dental Care - Fort Collins, CO

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to work part-time on a few Monday's per month 8am to 5pm. We are a small private general dentistry practice with one Doctor, a fun and happy, well-established practice with a warm family feel. Our dental hygiene program is thorough, and preventative based. Responsibilities Sterilize instruments properly Conduct mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Oral cancer screening Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good flossing and brushing techniques) Take X-rays and probing measurements – Dexis Maintain documentation and charts on each patient N2O2 Certified Skills 2 years or more experience as Dental Hygienist In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession Positive communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid Colorado license to practice Valid certification to anesthetize Current CPR certification Recent OSHA CE Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Education: Associate (Preferred) Experience: Dental Hygiene: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required) Work Location: In person
