Dental Assistant (DA , working toward RDA) Ventura, CA | Great Coast Dental $20-$25 /hour | Full-Time or Part-Time About Our Practice Great Coast Dental is a patient-focused private family practice in Ventura. We deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a positive, team-oriented environment. We are a 3-chair PPO and fee-for-service practice known for strong patient relationships and a supportive team culture. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant (DA/possible RDA) for back office and some front office help to join our team. This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Assist during dental procedures (4-handed dentistry) Prepare operatories, trays, and materials Take X-rays and impressions Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control Document clinical notes Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Support front and back office tasks Monitor and manage dental supplies Coordinate prescriptions and patient communication Qualifications DA license (California) X-ray certification 2+ years experience preferred (entry-level considered) Knowledge of dental terminology Dentrix experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Requirements CPR/BLS certification Infection Control certification HIPAA and OSHA compliance knowledge High school diploma or equivalent Compensation & Benefits $20–$25/hour (based on experience) Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday pay Continuing education support Supportive team environment How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter with the subject line 'Dental Assistant Application'.
