Orthodontic Assistant (Buellton / Santa Barbara) 4–5 days per week We are looking for an outgoing, dependable, team-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice. Buellton will be the home base for this position, with travel between our Buellton and Santa Barbara offices depending on the day. This role is ideal for someone local to the Santa Ynez Valley who is flexible, hardworking, and takes pride in their work. During training and coverage for another assistant’s pregnancy leave, this position will involve more time in the Santa Barbara office. Long term, the expected schedule will primarily be 2–3 days per week in Buellton and 1–2 days per week in Santa Barbara. What we are looking for: Availability for at least 4 days per week, up to 5 days per week Orthodontic assisting experience preferred Experience with tying and re-tying, adjustments, bonding and debonding, impressions, intraoral scans, and dental photography Outgoing and personable Clean, organized, and detail-oriented Works well as part of a team Goes above and beyond Reliable transportation and ability to travel between offices as needed Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus, but not required Experience: Orthodontic assisting experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person if they have the right personality, attitude, and work ethic. No DA or RDA credential is required.
