Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and the ability to assist the dentist efficiently during treatments. This practice is highly unique and specialized to individualized care on a comprhensive care approach. We utilize maximum digital dental equipments and techniques. We use digital smile design, 3D printing, digital scanning and manufacturing. We also take great ride in our approach to team coaboration and patient experiences. Both of these are high priorities for us. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards. Participate in digital dentistry including but not limited to: scanning, 3D printing and post production, photos and pre treatment records. Must be able to properly isolate and scan restorations/ pt. records. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Track and manage inventory related to supplies and ordering. Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Manage patient appointments, including scheduling and follow-ups using Curve software. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including medical coding when necessary. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and general dentistry practices. Treatment plan fabrication/ conversations for patients. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, infection control protocols, and four-handed dentistry techniques is essential. Proficiency in using Curve or similar dental practice management software is a plus. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and general medical coding will be beneficial.
