## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentist during procedures and perform various patient care, office, and laboratory duties. ## Responsibilities - Prepare patients for dental work - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Assist dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental X-rays - Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care - Maintain accurate patient records - Schedule appointments and manage patient flow - Perform various office tasks as needed ## Experience - Prior experience in a dental clinic setting is required - Proficiency in using Open Dental software for patient management would be a plus - Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology - Ability to take vital signs accurately Hours - Our office is open Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Office is open occasionally on Fridays. We also offer a monthly production based bonus system for all team members. Pay is negotiable based on previous dental assisting experience.
