Dental Hygienist - Pinewood Dentistry Sandy Springs - Cumming, GA

Pinewood Dentistry is looking to hire a passionate teammate to join our growing office in Cumming, GA. We are looking for a licensed dental hygienist to help serve our growing patient population. The person for this position must provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere when greeting patients, be a self-starter, organized, and pay attention to details. They must also possess a strong work ethic and be diligent when completing appointments. In addition they must work well in a team environment and be open to learning new processes. ** Please note, to be considered, a candidate must submit cover letter, resume, and at least one professional reference (two preferred) by email - please see info at bottom of post ** We are looking, at least, for coverage on Fridays and at least 2 other days throughout the week, but are really hoping to find someone Full Time. A minimum of 4 clinical days must be worked per week to be considered full time, but we are flexible on which days are worked. More than anything, we are looking for the right fit for our office culture. The position will be responsible for some of the following tasks: 1) Routine Prophy and updating radiographs or scans - 1 hour clinical appointment times 2) New patient visits - taking full-face photos, iTero scans, radiographs, perio chart, and basic cleaning (if applicable) - 1.5 hour clinical appointment times 3) Scaling and Root Planing - Scheduled based on your time requirements 4) Periodontal Maintenance - 1 hour appointment time 5) FMD/Scaling in the presence of gingival inflammation - Scheduled based on your time requirements 6) Keeping up with all of your own sterilization and stocking 7) Being a team player and helping during downtime such as: calling recare, doctor/xray sterilization, keeping the office neat and tidy, etc. Our office is fully digital, utilizing digital xrays, cameras, iTero and CEREC scanner, 3D xrays, and more. We are a FFS/PPO mixed office and do not take any HMO or medicaid plans. We do NOT do 20 minute prophy appts or stagger with hygiene assistants, we give you time to make a relationship with your patients!! Our four doctors preform the full scope of general dentistry including crown and bridge, fillings, root canals, Invisalign, implants, surgical dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry, and more. We practice with CEREC, and do most of our own crowns in office. The right fit for the position is eager to fit into our 'patient first' mindset.
