Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Chicago, IL

Overview Join our team at Noble Dentistry of Chicago! We are a privately owned (non corporate) start up general dental office that opened in July 2025 and are looking for a new team member to play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and help grow our practice! This position combines clinical support with front desk responsibilities, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a positive patient experience. You will be the welcoming face of our practice while assisting with dental procedures, managing patient records, and coordinating appointments. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes using our electronic medical record, Archy. Schedule appointments efficiently, confirm upcoming visits, and handle rescheduling as needed to optimize daily clinic flow. Assist dental providers during procedures by preparing instruments, taking X-rays, and maintaining sterilization protocols in compliance with OSHA standards. Manage medical billing processes including insurance verification, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and submitting claims. Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette while providing excellent patient service and addressing inquiries promptly. Skills Preferred experience in dental office settings with knowledge of dental terminology, medical coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and insurance billing procedures. Ability to speak Spanish is highly desirable but not necessary. Demonstrated clinic experience with patient intake, medical administrative support, appointment scheduling, and front desk operations. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure the privacy and security of health information management. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and accurate record keeping. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
