Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth. Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health issues and provide appropriate recommendations. Maintain accurate medical records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Implement aseptic techniques to ensure infection control within the dental clinic. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Qualifications Valid Illinois state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
