Job Summary Join our friendly , tight-knit team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist in a single doctor practice where your contributions truly matter. You will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator at the front desk and sometimes in the treatment areas. This vital role combines clinical support with administrative excellence, ensuring smooth patient experiences from check-in to checkout. You will handle patient intake, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical record management while taking xrays only for the patients. Your energy and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment that promotes patient satisfaction and clinic efficiency. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and collect necessary documentation for appointments Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management Assist dental providers by taking X-rays, while maintaining sterilization protocols Verify insurance benefits, process claims, entering EOBS, coding standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations Take and receive payments from patients Answer phones and any questions from patients Skills Dental x -ray certification license in MD Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (including 10-key), and familiarity with office management software Prior clinic or dental office experience with front desk duties, medical administrative support or office management roles Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical records management Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures to assist in clinical support roles effectivelyJoin us in delivering outstanding patient care while supporting the operational excellence of our clinic!
