Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and gentle Dental Hygienist to join our dental team for a 1-4 day position (Monday through Thursday, 8:15-5:15). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in educating patients on oral health. Duties - Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to maintain optimal oral health for patients. - Utilize Softdent system to manage patient records and appointments efficiently. - Maintain accurate medical records and document patient interactions, treatments, and progress notes. - Conduct medical imaging procedures as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. - Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. - Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Experience - Experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred but not necessary - Familiarity with medical coding and anatomy knowledge is advantageous. - Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Softdent is preferred but not necessary - Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are essential. - A commitment to providing exceptional patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
