Dental Hygienist (Part-time) - Advantage Dental Weston - Weston, FL

Part-time 3 to 4 days: -Mondays from 8:45am to 4:30pm -Tuesdays from 7:45am to 3:30pm -Wednesdays from 7:45am to 3:30pm -Fridays from 7:45am to 1:30pm Bonus system based on performance Duties: - Review and update dental records - Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments as directed by the dentist - Conduct dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Take dental x-rays and develop them for diagnostic purposes - Perform dental charting and document findings accurately Experience: - Proficiency in using dental software systems preferably Dentrix - Knowledge of dental terminology - Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices - Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
